As we are right beside the market town of Sedbergh, you are sure to find all the items you need. With a small local shop and a SPAR, there is enough to keep you going. For those willing to travel a bit further, then Kendal is a short 20 minute drive away. Here you can find a number of shops including local businesses and an Asda, Morrisons and Sainsburys.
As we are based in the National Park, there are endless places to go walking. Whether you’re looking for an adventure or the perfect spot to take your dog, there are several different routes.
Just found this so booked late on our journey home. It does allow smaller (7m) motorhomes, but just 3 pitches. Right alongside river, good 4G and TV reception and facilities were immaculately clean and tidy. No dog walking but in the countryside anyway, 10 minute walk to town, good value.
Lovely quiet, friendly site, within easy walking distance of town with usual pubs, takeaways, cafes etc. Our 3rd year owning, a home from home.
Caring friendly staff and well kept quiet site and superb panoramic views of the countryside. Very friendly residents especially Tom and Brenda, Dot and Terry who made us feel most welcome and one of the family. We will be back.
Pinfold is situated just outside of Sedbergh, making it ideal for travelling to. We are around 5 miles away from Junction 37 of the M6. Following the A684 towards Sedbergh will bring you straight to our site.
